Bio

Based in Golden, Colorado, Michelle & The Golden Dust play a rich blend of outlaw country, Americana, and a dash of Southern rock—mixing gritty twang with warm, harmony-driven storytelling. Fronted by singer-songwriter Michelle Parsons, the band delivers songs that feel as familiar as your favorite worn-in boots: smoky vocals, electric energy, and melodies that linger like a sunset fading over the foothills.

The band's live shows weave together crowd-pleasing covers and select originals, creating a set that's soulful, spirited, and built for good company. You'll hear everything from country classics to modern Americana to Southern-tinged rock, all delivered with honesty and heart. Whether they're playing a mountain-town brewery, a backyard BBQ, or a packed Denver club, Michelle & The Golden Dust bring an easy, heartfelt charm to the stage that keeps audiences engaged and singing along.

Michelle's original music—including songs from her solo album Reasons Why—adds depth and personality to the band's sound. Her writing draws on life's winding roads: heartbreak, hope, resilience, and the quiet beauty of everyday moments. The band includes several of her originals in their live sets, giving listeners a glimpse of their unique artistic voice alongside well-loved favorites.

Known for their tight musicianship, vocal blend, and approachable stage presence, Michelle & The Golden Dust have become a reliable and compelling presence in the Colorado Front Range music scene. Their shows are warm, welcoming, and just a little bit rowdy—the kind of night meant to be shared beneath wide-open skies, passing stories around until long after the music fades.
